Okay, I can't stand the clubby stuff on Hallam FM just now.

Given the fact that I prefer rock music, is there anything I can retune to right now?

Don't advise CDs. I'm feeling a little insular just now and need to know there's a world out there. :(

Seems like tons of DJ's leaving Hallam, well 2 that I know of now
When I left Sheff last year to live in Preston I didn't half miss listening to Hallamfm, so imagine my surprise when I turned on RockFM, Preston's local radio and heard Dixie at Breakfast, yeah it's the same guy! Checked out the RockFM website and it's practically a mirror image of HallamFM's website, cheered me up no end

They all belong to the same media group. Something to do with Emap I think (if news Katie's new job in peterborough was anything to go by), but I could be wrong

They seem to rotate the DJs round to keep the stations 'new and exciting'

Get a cheap USB FM transmitter for your computer (but don't plug it in though as they are illegal to operate in this country).

You could then stream out music from your computer onto your stereos throughout the house.

I listen to Club977, a decent commercial-free all 80's station.

Or is there a way of including the stereo in with my current wi fi set-up?

Yes. You can get a media centre box. It works inconjunction with your PC and wireless setup and lets you control video and audio stored on your PC.

Pinnacle do one called the Showshifter, but I'm not a big fan of their products:
