we are thinking of moving to jordanthorpe and just want some opinions from people. we r a young family with 2 children. we r renting 10 mins from that area at the moment but dont know too much about the estate. what roads do people recommend or advise to stay clear of? do u get many gangs handing about up there these days? is there much crime? i understand everywhere gets kids hanging about and no area is particulary perfect but................ opinions welcomed anyway. thanks

just as far away from the shops and the furthest point from batemoor(also known as brownmoor because of all the herion). jordo is full of familys and the older generation.

don't know much about Jordanthorpe but there are some good schools in the area, but all estates seem to have a bad name. There are good and bad everywhere
