Scarlett will be 6 months next week and is now weaned. She normally has a bottle (7oz) in the morning followed by some breakfast cereal (purée paste type thing) and then at lunch she'll have some veg purée followed by about 4oz of formula, same at tea time except she has a wee bit of fruit purée as well.

Before bed we've started doing a routine of bath, massage, bottle (7oz) then bed. However she's refusing all her bottles. She's eating the proper food fine but won't take her formula.

I'm lucky if she's taken about 4oz in total all day. She seems unsettled and a bit snarly. She doesn't appear to be ill though and whilst she's had a couple of teeth for ages and drools a lot she doesn't seem to be having problems with her teeth either.

Any advice?

Hiya  Long time no see! Hope you're both ok. Maybe Scarlett's just feeling a bit "off". Can you get her to drink other fluids? I wouldn't worry too much unless it goes on for more than a few days. Kennedy's always been useless with ALL fluids - was never a milky baby, doesn't really like juice or anything like that. I used to worry myself sick but she seems healthy enough. I'd have a word with the HV if it carries on :)

yeah I might pop down to baby clinic on monday. Everyone I've spoken to keeps saying give her a yoghurt and don't seem to be getting the fact she's allergic to milk lol

She's not taking any other fluids in either a cup or her bottle. She doesn't appear dehydrated cause she's drooling like a good un lol

Have you tried giving her the milk in a tippy cup instead?

yeah I've tried that, she's not very well versed with drinking from a cup yet and seems to just chew on it.

She's now REALLY constipated to the point she pooed what looked like a golf ball and made her wee bum bleed. I don't know if it's connected but I'm taking her to the HV tomorrow.

Aww no, poor Scarlett. Sorry I can't think of anything else to suggest.
