:help: :help: :help:

OK So same as before we are looking for people to display posters for Rainrescue to promote the fact that there are sooooo many lovely dogs in need of homes sitting in the Sheffield Council pound.

To do this all we ask is a few moments of your time printing and displaying posters anywhere that you see fit - local shops, vets, school notice boards etc etc!

The previous thread related to the poster appeal has been closed simply to avoid any confusion as to who you should send details to.... they now need to come to me please :D
If you had previously emailed your details then if you could re-send your email address to me so that we can make one comprehensive list of everyone that is involved that would be great

(just to add that if you feel happier sending your email address to rainrescue than me then thats fine.... but I promise I am not that scary really!!! )

So if you think you could spare some time to print out a poster or two and display it somewhere in your local area please PM or email me with your email address.

If you feel it is too much to print off and display posters every week or two the we also hope to be producing a general poster with the pounds details etc on that would not need updating with current dogs details. If you feel you would be able to find somewhere to put up one of the General posters then please let me know when you send through your details.

I hope to have some new posters ready very soon so get sending your details through and make sure your name is on our poster appeal list!

Lets hope we can get all of Sheffield covered and raise awareness of these needy dogs in our local council pound. :D

Thanks in advance to all and any questions please email or PM me

Just to add that there has been an offer from a fellow forumer to print and post out posters to anyone who is printerless (many thanks for that offer) ... so no excuses now - even if you have no printer we can still add you to our list!!!

Many thanks to those speedy people who have replied already!

Thank you sezbetz - just so well put.

Obviously - posters can be put further than Sheffield - because people do travel when they see the right dog, or realise they can help one in need - so display in any area where we should be able to find them a nice home.
thanks

no problem about the printer moonbird.. I have had an offer from someone who will print out posters for those that have no access to their own printer. If you send either myself or rain your details then I will make a note of the fact you will need it printing and sending out.

thanks to those who have replied so far...I am sure there are more of you out there though!!! ;) :D

OK posters are re - designed and are now one page - so half the printing.... anyone else to add themselves to my list before we distribute them??

Even if you can only manage to print in black and white then that is better than nothing - it is only the phootos and title that are colour anyway!! Just think you could print one then beg the boss to let you photocopy a few more ;)

Thanks to all those who are already on the list - you will be hearing from me soon.

(Please also note that your email address will be kept private from others - only myself an Rain Rescue will hold the list of addresses - posters will be sent out to individuals and not as a group email so no worry about people getting hold of your email address!!! (did that make sense - at 35 weeks preg Im always surprised if anything I say or type makes any sense!!!)

posters dont have to go in your workplace - basically wherever they can be placed will benefit the dogs in the pound as it raises awareness of their exsistance.

got your pm - thanks

Sez - can we start a new thread when you update the poster for the latest week?

I know you are otherwise engaged at the moment, which is why the posters have gone quiet due to little baby popping out into the cold weather - but hopefully the posters will be around again soon.

If anyone wanted to offer to help Sez whilst she's so busy - please let us know
