My mother-n-law suffered a stroke earlier this year, its resulted in her losing her driving licence, and being almost virtually house ridden as she can`t go out alone.
She has always been used to her independence and is very lonely in her bungalow out in Derbyshire.
She has looked after Gandalf(my blue ringed parakeet) before, and she really enjoyed the company. Lately she`s been asking if he can go and stay with her for a bit, just to break up the days and give her someone to talk to.
Now I really don`t want to part with my baby(is that selfish?) The house wouldn`t be the same without him squawking in the background:hihi:
But it has really got us thinking about getting her a bird.
She would love it dearly.
