I'm sure there's someone who will recognise and remember this guy with his distinctive moustache. A pub landord from the 1970's. The picture is a still taken from a Sheffield film shot in the 1970's. I seem to think it was The Barrel on London Road, but I'm most likely wrong though.

his name wasn't Marsh was it?
i went to school with a lad who's dad was the landlord at either the barrel, or the crown, (I forget which one it was) and his name was Marsh

PT I don't know the guys name. You know when you see someone but you don't know where from, well this chap has been bugging me for some time now. Somewhere in the dim and distant past I'm sure I've come across him.
In the film he's serving across a bar somewhere in Sheffield and for some reason The Barrel seems to ring a bell.
Not 100%
but I think Burgoyne Arms
When he ran the Dore Moor Inn he was known as Jolly Jack his wife was called Connie. I think he died a few years ago

Whats the film?
Sheffield City on the Move, it's the original promotional fim used in the opening sequence of "The Full Monty".
After The Full Monty it was re-released under the title of "The Reel Monty".
