hi i have had my rabbits for a week now and the have really settled in. but yesterday i notice that their dropping were a little wet. is this normal ? i have given them apple yesterday for the first time could this by why?

if this is the first time you have given them apple it would suggest that it is the cause ,as with all animals change of diet should be done gradually ,i would take them off the apple for a couple of days, if it persists you should have a word with your vet, but its problerly that youve given them a bit too much apple before there stomachs are use to it

Yes, I get this with mine. Some fruit or veg makes their poo a bit more wet than others. Like P@H says, keep an eye on them and it should hopefully be ok.

I tend to give mine VERY little in the way of fruit and veg until they reach 4 or 5 months as it can sometimes give them the runs, or bloats. I just give them their complete food, nothing else really until they're a little older, then start introducing fruit n veg one at a time. I've never really had any problems doing it that way.
