I need help again :) sorry guys.
I need to get Albert insured after cancelling M&S.
I cannot seem to find anything affordable and good.
He is 10 so it is getting awkward finding something and i wondered if anyone with older dogs could make a recommendation for me.
Any suggestion would be appreciated from you knowledgable lot :D
try Argos not sure of the cut age but its a good policy all ine are insured with them and I have not had any problems ever

We switched our Sapphire to Argos Pet Insurance last year. She is 17 and there was no problem accepting her.
Thanks guys i think we will go with argos seems to be the best i can also find for older dogs.
Look at who under writes it too!!! and you pay less with Argos than with certain other plans

Yep agree with Teeny on this one, previously we were with Sainsburys pet insurance, we'd never claimed and they wanted to almost double our monthly premium. :o Oddly enough Argos have the same underwriters but are actually cheaper than what we were paying originally with Sainsburys, were really quick too at settling a claim and we didn't have to pay out first either, vets just sent the claim form in and was settled in a matter of days:)
I should also point out the claim I had took 10 days to gain payment and thats really good as some take alot of time to pay out!:( but also the cost didn't rise as a result of the claim we have been more than happy with Argos :)
i have all mine with axa insurance who are underwriters for alot of insurances, they seem to offer the best cover i could fine, much on par with what m and s offered. annax.
Have looked at Argos to insure a few of my cats. I don't recall seeing the £60 excess before. Does this seem a sensible excess folks?

Have you looked at animal friends pet insurance? I don't know if they have a cut off age but they donate profits to animal rescues and such like.
Im with petplan and have recently had a very large claim, they paid out within 7 days. Its a lifetime policy too so they continue to cover for the same illness no matter how long it goes on for. Not sure how they will compare for you but if you did decide to go with them I have a voucher for the first two months free if you want it?
