Hiya- can anyone tell me what time post offices normally open on a weekday?

I believe 9-5 is normal. Some of them have 1 day a week when they open at 8:30 but it varies.

Edit: It would help if you told us which post office you are thinking of going to.

Try looking on the post office (http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/finder?catId=7800129) website - it has a branch locator and opening times

Ours was 9-5 closing for lunch from 1-2 and then they just totally closed it down. Long hike up a big hill to the nearest one now - bloody post office!:rant:

they are closing a lot of the sub post offices down due to money cut backs, its mainly due to everyone now getting beneifts paid straight into a bank account meaning the offices are not getting the ususal business!
