Keep in mind that realplayer might have taken controll and became the standard player for cds. Therefore don't take it as red that just because your computer is telling these are realmedia files that is what they are, they arn't.

Is the CD an original CD or it is burnt CD?

Shelly you need to get the original CD inserted into your CD drive and then use the Riper software to convert it to WAV or MP3 format.

I use this for converting most things http://www.eo-video.com/ . The basic idea is that if your machine can play it, you can convert it. You tell the program what application best plays your file and it converts it through that. Its pretty simple to use (and although i sometimes need to use more complicated programs, this does the job just as well as any of them)

CRC error?? (http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000430.htm)

If so, simply DL it again as it has probably been corrupted during downloading;).

dBpowerAMP Music Converter encodes anything into anything...

CD => mp3
CD => ogg
mp3 => ogg
wav => mp3
mp3 => wav
CD => wav
and many more...

Also a good soft to get rid of rubbish file formats such as WMA, RM, AU and other rubbish ones ;)

Admitedly, you need to buy the soft, but I errr... well guess :D
Demo version available as well as the errrrr... Other one...

not sure if it does real media files.
You could always burn the RM files to cd using real player then just rip them back with summat else!

Shelly if you use windows media player and save them to your computer as wma files you can convert them with this free software

http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html?ref=google&ref2=c24mp3search

It works great to convert wma to mp3 I haven't tried it to wav yet but it's really easy to use too you just add the file and click convert.

Hope this helps
