magsie 05-09-2008, 05:47 PM Thanks to LittleMermaid, Natalya and her friend.
Thank you also to Olliekitten, Locket, Gingers and Kezza for the offers of food, toys, lit box and scratch post for all the Tesco Terrors! I have been overwhelmed by their generosity and support.
On to the black and white kits now! x

Oh fantastic news magsie! I'm so glad!
Can you tell me a bit more about the black and white ones...not that I'm going to flutter my eyelashes at OH for one or anything:hihi:
You'll always have people's support on here-you doa fantastic job:)
medusa 05-09-2008, 06:16 PM Woohooo! Congratulations magsie (crosses her fingers too!).
It will be on to my huge litter soon, so please don't steal all the good homes ;)
One little horror (the most endearing one of the whole litter) has just worked out how to climb up our legs so they'll be coming downstairs and taking over the rest of the house in the next week or so.
I know that you'll try your hardest for the Tesco Terrors and I applaud you for that. For every one of these cats that you go to the effort of saving from the short and hungry life as an urban feral and get set up with a loving home you'll also be reducing the future feral population by a couple of hundred animals. They will never thank you for getting them a new cushy life, so I'll do it for them.

Whoever takes Tiny will have to be ready for anything- he may not be big, but he's going to be a monster. He's the first into everything, he's more coordinated than his litter mates so he's the first to learn how to run and climb, when you stop cuddling him he just sits on your foot until you pick him up again!
Sorry- no intention to drag the thread off topic. Back to Tesco Terrors- I've got my own thread ;)
magsie 05-09-2008, 07:10 PM No, don't worry about dragging the thread off topic. Tiny sounds terrific. Susan, the little one, will be cuddled just about, but Heather the bigger one will have none of it. She's not that keen on me! Is Tiny with you at your home? The black and white ones I have left still need a lot of work doing with them. They are Tess' kits and Tess is still one site. Last night, she ran up the road at the back of Tesco's to my car, sniffed the back of the car and jumped on top of it. She ran on exactly the same track as my wheels had taken. Am sure she was after her kits - they were very close. Wondering now if I can get some other catching device rather than a trap. She's too clever by far!
Back to Tiny!! Sounds terrific. How many more are there in the lit? I bet I've missed the thread! x
medusa 05-09-2008, 08:32 PM The litter I have is the mum and 7 that Gemima found herself with on this (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=383392) thread. So I'm looking for 8 new homes in a month or so, although I've already had a few enquiries about the babies.
The litter are currently in the peace and quiet of my attic, but the babies will start having time away from mummy next week and by the week after will be taking over the rest of the house, leaving Tilly drying up her milk and getting ready to be spayed.
Tess sounds like she's got far too much brain! I'm assuming that she won't come up to you? Some feral cats are fine around humans as long as they don't try to touch them- it can be quite hard to see that they're feral until you touch them and they either disappear as if by magic or all hell lets loose. If you're really confident about your abilities then you could just go in for a one of the loop poles like they use for foxes and the like, but with cats you can do real damage to their neck in the time that you're hanging on for grim death trying to get them into the basket so you can slacken off the noose.
