About 30 odd years ago I read an article about a guy called Gordon Jamieson. He was from Sheffield, and had gone to Spain and got into trouble over a stolen car. The upshot was he finished up in 'la prision' awaiting trial. After a couple of years, still waiting. Tony Kaye, the footballer,(he had been to Spain) somehow got hold of this and reported it to a newspaper, hence the article I read. What I would like to know is, what was the end of the story? Did he get sprung? Is he still in there, hung from chains, or what? I did know Gordon slightly, knocking around Town during the 50's. Whatever, I bet he learned Spanish in a hurry!
