Hello
I work in a school, and have had experience of a child trying to be diagnosed ADHD. From my experience the child saw the child pyschologist, who could only say if they showed similiarties to it. It is upto your GP to diagnose and prescribe if needed. the problem is not all GPs recognise the illness. If u wanna ask me anything thing else plz feel free to pm me!

just to add- a Clinical Psychologist could diagnose ADHD, but couldn't prescribe anything. Ritalin could be prescribed by a psychiatrist or a GP.
Sorry to say this but its just my views. I've met a few people with ADHD and to be honest they just acted the same as every other kid did on that estate. :loopy:
