Hi I'm from shirecliffe/pistmoor area.

Try the Pitsmoor/Bay House good pubs.

I went in there last week and there was a child serving on the bar! Well dodgy!

You've obviously not been in recently!!! Used to be nice a few years ago but landlords changed and it's really gone downhill. It's a dump now!

Whatever u do stay well away from the 5 arches its full of **** heads, druggies and dick heads looking for a scrap, the devonshire is a nice pub well decorated and serves decent enough food..........i wont even talk about the timbertop.
The best pubs around that area are in pitsmoor......YES it has a reputation but most of the people who frequent these pubs are decent honest folk and the atmosphere is friendly.

I've been in the Five Arches a few times recently and never had a problem. Not seen many young people in. I think the average age seems to be 40.

I even called in on a Friday night and it was virtually empty.
