:( I have just put the ehating on in the shed for the small furries! which is 6 weeks earlier than last year !!!!
I have put it on from 8pm til 7am on low, i don't think I have ever had to put it on this early or am i nesh?:)

I am glad about that!!! as my hubby keeps telling me i am nesh! I have the fire on in here for me too!!! hopefully it will warm up as at the weekend the gas fire goes !! to make way for the woodburning stove.

I've put mine on today, luckily for me the cost is included in my rent so I pay for it whether I use it or not.

I've put socks and a fleece on for the first time since the spring and if it gets any colder I may have to think of changing from shorts to trousers and shutting some of the windows.

I think I may still be a bit menopausal :huh:

lol caught me I am southerner lol although i have been here 38 years now lol on and off that is:)

It's freezing today, we've had the central heating on and have put extra hay in the bunny hutch. We're putting in the snugglesafe tonight too.

Don't feel guilty! I've never had the heating off, except for those two or three days that we laughingly called 'the Summer' this year :P

I feel bad now cos i shaved my Merino & Peruvian piggies the other day and its gone chilly, they live indoors but i have stuffed extra hay into their beds just in case they get cold.

I have 10 sheltie texile cross guineapigs and I did the same to them 2 weeks ago but they have lots of hay and are next to the heater lol

I gave up and put the heating on yesterday

we usually switch the boiler to 'constant', but let the thermostat decide when the boiler needs to run. It's usually on about 21 for the day and we turn it down to 15 at night. I got up this morning to find Mr Strix in shorts and T-shirt with the heating on 23!

Yep our heating has gone on today too and extra bedding and heat pads popped in for the boarders Brrrrrrrrr
