I've now gone on to the Nikon DSLR's and they are very easy to use on automatic Cheers Rob ImpInaBox 03-09-2008, 20:57 It's like most things in life... If you put pretty much any digital camera into full auto mode you'll get a pic that bears a passing resemblance to what you pointed it at. But to get what you expect, or want, out of your camera will require a little more effort on your part no matter what camera you get. They're all 'easy to use' but they all drive ya nuts at times! proofreader 03-09-2008, 21:00 I would always recommend Canon. I have a compact, bridge and SLR and all are easy to use with good results. Just saying that so if you then fancy an upgrade you know the controls etc. Can also get a number of refurbished models on eBay for decent prices. A lot is down to trying before you buy, if possible though. jezzyjj 05-09-2008, 01:35 I'd recommend one of the Canon Ixus range. Very easy to use as well as nice and small. I gave my girlfriend an Ixus 850IS and she loves it, producing some very good photos despite her having no interest in techy stuff. It's better than most other Ixus [and most compacts] as it has a wider angle lens than most point and shoot cameras. It does very goood close up shots too. May be hard to come by now, but will a lot cheaper as not made anymore Found one here! http://www.bestpricedbrands.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=184&aff_code=sc I don't know the store, so check them out first. . |
