Hi,

I've just adopted two kittens and need to take them for their vaccinations/checks etc- does anyone know of a good vet in the Woodhouse area?

Cheers,

Mads

Brude sees Mr Jarvis at springfields at Crystal Peaks.

Brude is my beagle (incase you didn't know ;) ). He lives in Woodhouse too :)

They are very good, I took my pet rat Dweezel there when he had a "lump", they sorted him out and didn't charge a fortune.

Springfields is great - both my cats go there.

I know it's not in Woodhouse but there's a decent Vets on Eccleshall Road that Dad used to use for our dogs when we had them.

We take Taylor (Golden Retriever) and Layla (beautiful black cat) to the vets at Crystal Peaks.

They've been really brilliant.

We live in Woodhouse too.

We recently adopted an old cat and have registered her at springfields. They gave her a health check for free and we only had to pay for the worm tablet. Mr Jarvis was very friendly and good with our cat. I know it was put on her record as "free kitten check" so i assume it would be the case for your kittens.

It seems like half of Woodhouse is on this forum - me included.

I know your asking for a vet in Woodhouse....But has anybody tried Spires in chesterfield ??? I havent, but heard some right good things about it..I use the 1 on London Rd and it reminds me of Quick fit...your in and out in no time..And its rather exspensive.

Crooks at Hackenthorpe are really nice and not too expensive.

Hello Woodhouse Forumers

Used to use the vets at Eckington and they were good, but really can't fault them up at Peaks.

I'll vouch for Crooks too at Hackenthorpe. Very good and easy enough to get in. I take my Charlie there

Another recommendation for Crooks at Hackenthorpe village , excellent caring vets and they don't rip your eyes out like Springfield.

Hi to all you Woodhousers and others-

I didn't realise there were so many of you pet owners living in Woodhouse. Thanks for all your replies- really helpful as am just finding my feet with my two little kits and was unsure where was best to take them!

Cheers,

Mads
