I blummin hate text speak - Speak English! :loopy:

I know that doesnt help your original query - Have you tried virtualdub, you can add what you like where you like, then you can work with it in Lightwave?

Dunno much about lightwave, but should be easy enough to add music with another program if you cant do it all in lightwave.

Have you tried windows movie program? i think it may let bring add sound and video together, other then that any video edeting proggy will do it for you such as Adobe Premiere ("After Fx" is an animation and visual fx software not very good at video edeting).
I dont think Ligtwave/Maya/3DS let you add sound as they are purely modeling/animation software.

virtualdub: 'ave it, It's good, go for it.

I tend to use River Past Encoder now, far easier, no intermediate steps ther than the button 'Encode'

You can also do this using an excelent freeware video editing system that is available from thugsatbay (http://www.thugsatbay.com/tab/?q=zweistein).

From Thugs At Bay Website features list (http://www.thugsatbay.com/tab/?q=zweistein_features)

Input: Input Media compatible with Internet Explorer 4.0 (*.avi,*.wav,*.jpg,*.gif,*.png etc...)

Imports http:// and ftp:// URL's for projects and clips.

Output: Outputs AVI 1.0, RealVideo® RealAudio®, Windows Media Format (*.wmv), WAV, and BMP.

Editing Capacity: Up to 512 Video/Media Clips on up to 512 Tracks, each of which may have up to 512 Sub Tracks, etc... (This effectively comprises an editing capacity that is only limited by disk space.

Takes a while to get your head round some of the more complicated stuff (like video compositing) but for simply adding audio onto a video, it's pretty easy.

BTW. Did I mention it's free;).

<EDIT>:wow:....... Just been and had a look around the V4 web site of Zwei-Stein...... Gonna give the Alpha release a go I think;)....</EDIT>
