Last week I found one of our goldfish in the middle of the garden. It was a bit damaged but still alive so I put it back in the pond and and it seemed to be OK. But now it's disappeared and I can't fathom out what might have got it. I don't think it could be a cat because the fish is quite large- must weigh about one and a half pounds. Could it be a rat? someone said it could be a heron, but I can't say I've seen any flying around this part of Crookes. Any ideas?

there's been a Heron in Southey Green recently, so could be that.

Heron or Fox i reckon...

Theres a heron that fly's round rivelin and Ive seen it near my nans at walkley so sounds like it could be that. poor fishy :(
