Hi,
Im seriously considering getting a leopard gecko as i now have hubbys blessing, but have a couple of question if anyone can help-ive searched the internet but can't find the answer:
1. Can gecko's be kept on there own or do they need to be in a pair?
2. If they can live alone, do female or males make better pets, or is there no difference?
Thanks in advance
Rach

1, Geckos dont mind being on their own
2, I have never noticed any real differences in male/female behaviour.
If you do get a pair you have to make sure they are male and a female and not related as they will try to breed.
If you have any more people please feel free to ask more questions.

As CV has said basically. Do a google search for leopard gecko care sheets. Loads of them about.
Also, you might be interested in the IHS reptile show at Doncaster dome on Sunday, you'll be able to get a leo from there.
also if you want a pair two females are great if you dont want them to breed but under no circumstances will two males live together

I have known two brothers that have been kept together since birth and they pine for eachother when seperated but this is very rare indeed.
