I have today received a letter stating that my UGC Unlimited subscription will be increasing from £9.99 to £10.99 as, "there has not been an increase in over two years". Have other Unlimited customers also received this letter? Do you think the price increase is fair?

Also, as I know a few UGC employees regularly use the Forum it would be interesting to hear your thoughts / comments.

Yeay! I bought my pass one month ago, and I paid in full for the year! That's £11 better off I'll be (if they don't write to me to ask for the extra :suspect: )

thats abit stupid, they make people sign up for a 12 months contract at £9.99 and then they can change it to £10.99 whenever they want.

My thoughts exactly Nick - it isn't justification for a price increase at all! Just because it hasn't been increased doesn't mean it should be - after all, what happened to 'value for money'?

Isn't that about right, taking inflation into account?

anybody ever met that 'Mary Davis' who's on the advert they use. She must be an avid cinema goer, she's renewed her subscription for 5 years running!

Actually the price has been the same since the card started in 2000 - I know I've had mine since September of 2000. I personally still think it's good value if you go regularly. Look at it this way it's only 25p a week! Even if you only go once a week it is still cheaper (on evening prices) then having to pay at the time.

It's a bummer, but I guess it is fair enough. The price of tickets has gone up so it's still a good deal.
