I've just called the Register Office in Sheffield to confirm that there is No list on the council website! Which is a shame.

The best they can do is to advise you if you call: 273 4093

Abbeydale Primary School is on Glen Road, S7 1RB (http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=434441&y=384662&z=0&sv=S7+1RB&st=2&pc=S7+1RB&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf) .

if this helps,

Go down Sheldon Road, from the Nether Edge shops, till you reach Abbeydale Road.

Turn right at the lights past the Broadfield pub:-

Abbeydale primary school is more or less next door to the pub, just take a right, off Abbeydale Road, on to Glen Road, and you are there.

Thanks for your help everyone, seems a shame that there is no list advertised anywhere.

doesnt seem like an incentive to make a trip out, not everyone knows where things are!

Dont get me wrong though, i will def be going to vote!

Thanks again. x

Good idea. I've got a full list at home. If I'd realised there was no public list I'd've put it on my website.

I'll make sure I pester the election office next year to get the list on the Sheffield website.

Ive had a look at our polling card and it says the station for us is Mother of God Church, Parish Centre, Abbeydale Rd. I live just off Sheldon Rd. Hope this helps

My mother in law has just told me that as we have posted our voting form off for the local parties, then this also covers the national parties, is this right?

No, each and every election requires you to vote. It would make life a lot easier for political parties if you voted only once in your life. :D

Plus, there are no local elections in Sheffield this year, except in Birley where the councillor resigned to be able to fight in the general election.

As Max says, you are only voting in your area for an MP, this has nothing to do with local councillors or how the council is run.

The card you have is for the general election, assuming you have a card?

Just go down to the polling station, if you are on the electoral role, you will still be able to vote. (Card or not)

One could say RTFM, i.e. read the card. The polling station is named on it.
