So, I'm just getting round to replacing some of my favourite films from my old videos. Next on the list are Leon and Trainspotting.
Maybe pay 20 quid and get them both in nice special edition packages? Wrong.
I can't find them anywhere on region 2!
Leon - An absolute classic.
Trainspotting - Probably in the top five most popular British films EVER.
What's going on!?
It took me ages to get Leon in a standard edition.

Yeah, I found one on Ebay for £6, but I'd rather have bought it new.

Is this what your looking for?
Edit: you've already found it, never mind!

There's a 'special edition' of that out after Christmas so the previous editions have presumably been deleted.
you will be better off with the region 1 version of leon its the full version the region 2 had lots of cuts

That might explain it then. I mean, I can get both of them on Ebay, but I just found it really odd, in a day when we can buy Lost Cities of Gold or crap like that on dvd, but you can't buy Trainspotting!

Cheers for that. I found it for $20 on the US Amazon. About £14 with P&P, I can handle that for a good film uncut.

I always thought that region 1 DVDs wouldn't play on UK DVD players?
