Does anybody know what has happened to Joe's Ices which was a cafe based on the corner of Ecclesall Road and Rustlings Road? It was great food and Alan was always really welcoming. When we went a few weeks ago, there was no sign of anything inside - no notice on the door, no sign of life.

We're missing it very much!!! :(

yeah i noticed that too. i was really dissapointed. i guess it must have not been making enough money :(

Hi AD38. Alan is now based at Beighton lifestyle Centre on the High Street where he helps run our community cafe. Open Mon-Thurs with a basic food and drink menu. Opens from nine til two for food, (drinks and snacks only available after that time) Alan would love to see some of his old customers! Tel 0845 450 6250 Ext 1

Can't believe it's been two years since Joe's shut! Since then it was a BBQ place, then I think it tried being a sandwich shop and now it seems empty again.
