Agent Dan 21-10-2003, 11:48 No idea of any clubs but you could try ringing the sheffield space centre on 0114 2758905 - they're a shop, but they sell LOTS of anime and manga stuff!!!
I'm very into anime and manga myself so maybe we could hunt together?? I don't own much of my collection anymore but still have some, such as Cyber City OEDO episodes 1-3, ninja scroll, akira (jap with subtitles) and some manga (mainly cyber punk).
Christoph 24-10-2003, 21:14 Anime in the Sheffield Space Center?!!!!?!?! The last time I went in there it was all Thunderbirds, Dr Who and Quantum Leap. How times change.
kayomani 07-11-2003, 11:28 I found http://anime-europe.ipbhost.com/index.php?showforum=33
I will go down to the space center next time im in town.
dregar41 20-12-2003, 12:33 l..... ...........
I have got a some copies on avi or vcd if anyone interested?
sky14kemea 23-01-2007, 13:09 i go to the sheffield space center ^_^ i but love hina and stuff, but ive only known about it for a few years...
if anyyone knows about any anime conventions that would be great, cuz i wanna cosplay someday...
i heard rumours that there are conventions in sheffield >_> <_<
nuttygirl 23-01-2007, 13:33 Sheffield university has one - not sure if it's open to non-students tho. They do access-anyone screenings in the uni auditorium too.
John Locke 25-01-2007, 14:44 I'm interested! Recently discovered anime. Watched 'Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence'. What a fantastic film!
I'm also interested (even if the OP posted 4 years ago). I'm a student so I might give the society a try, but can anyone tell me if its worth the try? I've seen some attrocities that called themselves an anime society.
I'm interested in anything from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ^_^ / Rozen Maiden to Samurai Champloo / Death-Note, so thats almost anything in the spectrum...
sky14kemea just peaked my interest with conventions, If the rumours are true, this could be fun :P
Thanks :)

Interested. Are there any Elfen Lied or FLCL fans btw?
EthrealAngel 07-02-2007, 20:44 hey all - i'm not sure how interested you'd be in this but i was just having a look around, and there is a great site called animeleague (www.animeleague.net/forums) - it has a large british community and some people there might be able to tell you more about if they know any secret anime niches in sheffield?? :)
why dont you come along and have a look anyway??
also i know that there is a great anime convention held in leiceter in september called Alcon (www.alcon.org.uk) - people from ALL OVER the UK go to it - so it might be a great way to meet some new people with the same interests as you!!
Hey Angel ^_^
All i can do is backup what Angel said, its all worth doing!
@R4zor: Yeah, FLCL was the second or so Anime I watched and its awesome, I got a massive wall scroll of Haruka hanging on my wall atm :D
Great, at least I'm not an only FLCL fan here, just love that anime
U could try geting the newest anime series which recently aired in Japan (even the one just aired few hours before in Japan) through this website with '3*w' at the front:

Elfen Lied is excellent :D
Gotta ask the question that everyone asks... Did you cry?
I have to say I did. Specially as it gets closer to the end I found it harder to hold back the tears. Raelly great anime :)
