Hi

I'm going to Shef at the end of June this year. With my friends (3 persons) we're looking for accomodation.
Could you tell me what's the average price of modest flat for 4 people (including water etc.)? Are there any extra payment when you rent it (deposit?)?

I'll be grateful for Your answers!

Better off getting a house as 4 bed flats are hard to come by. a house you could possibly get from £400 a month depending on where you want to live. more likely to be paying £700 or more though as it will need to be quite a large place unless some of you share.

£400 for a month from each person?

But I've read some announcements and the price is very from 50 to 70 punds per week......

I think they do 4 bedroom "pods" (or whatever they are called) in West One, you might want to find out how much they cost ?

In principle... we want to rent something... where 4 people can sleep, eat...etc. and the cost of living won't be high. The upper limit of price - 65 punds per week.
Could you tell me where - apart from forum - i can find some annoucments?

I was thinking a house for £400 a month, not each person. Thats not going to be in the centre of town though, more likely in one of the not so nice areas further out. It depends where abouts you want to live.

shouldn't have too much problems outside of town for that price... sheffield telegraph has some rental listings on a friday (i think) and the usual wanderings to newsagent windows around where your looking. Alternatively just try sheffield letting agents on t'internet and see what you come up with... good luck.
