Hi, i'm currently looking for a room in the Eccy Road, London Road area, basically anywhere in or around the S11 area or fairly nearby.

My name is Richard and i'm currently working in an office in the city centre. I'm looking for something that's pretty chilled and relaxed during the week coz i have to get up to do the work thing, i enjoy a bit more activity at the wkends tho.

A bit about me. I came to sheffield in 2001 as a mature student (yeah getting on a bit), left for a year to do some postgrad and then, coz i liked it so much in the steel city i came back! I'm well house trained and don't mind doing my share of the housework, kitchen & bathroom cleaning are a specialism with me, i also don't mind doing some cooking but i ain't the best in the world so don't expect amazing results. I give a go tho.

One thing that is important to point out is that i'm a smoker, i feel it's important to mention this coz i know a lot of you out there ain't too keen on smokers, so if you live in an entirely non smoking house i'll prob not be your ideal housemate because i don't fancy spending the entire winter standing outside everytime i fancy a smoke.

Interests: I like listening to music (i won't be banging it out all the time tho, i really am a considerate housemate) i also enjoy a night out the weekends (dub nights, free parties), hanging out with friends, watching films and generally relaxing during the week.

Ideally i'm looking for a house where every one at least tries to get on, occasional trip to the pub and communal cooking sometimes, that sort of thing. I like to think that i'm pretty easy going and i'm looking for like minded individuals.

If you think i sound like someone who could fit in to your house and you have a room i'd love to hear from you. email, PM, text or call are all fine. Anyway, that's me, hope to hear from you.

hi rich, i have a Spacious double room available in a recently refurbished lovely house on Hunter House Road. The room had a comfy double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, bed side table and storage cupboard. The house is fully furnished , all rooms are fitted out with ikea furniture. Broadband internet and sky tv is included. 32 inch HD tv in lounge! Bonus! :o) The house had everything you could want. Washer and dryer are in the cellar but its not a scary cellar. It is also used for storage. Hunter House road is just off the Hunters Bar roundabout so provides instant access to Ecclesall Road and only a 10 minute walk into town. Current housemates, 3 females and 1 male. Tennant would take over existing 12 month contract which was signed on 1st July.
Im looking to move out A.S.A.P. as my situation has changed. Rent is £294 pcm. I have already pain the Council Tax for the year so this will be included.

please let me know if you would like to come for a viewing by e-mailing me at emmalouise2@mac.com. thanks, i can e-mail you pics of the room

Hi - I've got one room left in a 4 bed professional house on guest road in hunters bar. It's a nice cosy house, with 2 girls and one guy and an empty room - double bed, ikea furniture, good quality carpet, phone point, broadband. The house has 2 bathrooms, a good sized living room and kitchen and a secure back garden with dusk to dawn security lighting and lockable gate. Efficient landlords who are quick to attend to maintenance issues. Lovely road close to shops and cafes at hunters bar/ecclesall road/sharrow vale road. Rent includes council tax and water rates and is £300 per month. Call me to arrange to view any time. - 0780 8886013 - liz
ps - re the smoking bit - the current law is that any house share where people have individual contracts means that there is no smoking allowed in any of the communal areas. This will be the same wherever you go, although enforcing it from a legal point of view is difficult. The current tenants in the house are all non-smokers so you would have to fit in with them and agree to smoke outside....
