A new stage, specifically to showcase bands from the North of England, is set to run at the Leeds Festival (August 26-28) this year.
Running between midday and 7.30pm on all three days, Mean Fiddler is looking for 8-9 bands to play each day. The six winners of the Futuresound competition will appear on the stage leaving room for around 20 others acts to have the chance to play in front of thousands on the weekend. There is no restriction as to whether or not the bands are signed.
If you're are interested in trying to secure a slot for your band please send demos or releases the address below by Thursday, 30th June.

The full line-up for the stage will be announced at some point in July. Please note that due to weight of submissions expected that Sandman cannot enter into correspondence with the entrants.
