If the decision on Thursday goes against BAR and Jensen then ultimately the team could be suspended.
How stupid is this, how many times did Schumacher bend the rules for his and the teams benefit and now when a strong team and contender is at least around, they could be got rid of.
Seems a bit suspect to me. I hope the outcome is good and Jensen and the team survive.
More information
FIA are seeking BAR `s disqualification for the rest of the season from the court as thodays hearing.
Jensons car was 5kg below the 600kg minimum.
FIA have got a team disqualified before team Tyrell were banned from the last three races of the 1984 season.
What next. Poor Jenson.
Who have Ferrari paid off then or should that be how much have they paid. Cant get too close to Schumachers title.

Really can't see this happening. If BAR were a struggling independent team (like Tyrell were) then it would be possible. But Honda have such muscle that, to be honest, the FIA wouldn't dare. Especially under the cloud of manufacturer threats to start a rival series and with the future of F1 still not fully decided. And there are so few cars on the grid these days compared to the heady 80s, where they had to run a pre-qualifying session to narrow the field down a bit before 'proper' qualifying. At the time, it was probably a relief to loose 2 cars from the grid.
They might be penalised the points collected and given a suspended ban / slap on the wrist.
BAR's defence (that the car was never under weight during the race because it always had at least 5kg worth of fuel / driver body fluid / tyre mass / brake disc / whatever) is pretty lame. All the teams know the rules, and you'd have thought the weight rule was the simplest to enforce and adhere to.
Know what you mean about Button tho. He's not had much luck this season. I was really hoping he got the chance to go to Williams and establish himself as a serious contender. BAR, on the other hand, have really dropped the ball this season. Bet Honda are fuming over getting whipped by Toyota in the first 2 races :)
Well they have been banned for two races - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/4514569.stm pretty lenient really. They had a second fuel tank in the car which they didn't drain when the car was initially weighed. Looks like they have done it deliberately.
It makes it a change for somone else to cheat apart from the great Schumacher.
I am glad thats all they got, although it should not have gone that far.
I think the FIA have over reacted to the BAR situation theres no need for a ban should have just fined them.
It's were nice to see them back after the FIA farce but they performed badly on the track...
