Does anyone know if anywhere in sheffield or rotherham holds a regular jazz night, don't mean modern jazz but classic 20's and 30's jazz or even the big band sound.

dunno much about where there is any played but keep an eye out for local jazz man "ralf salt" he is a super jazz player..

Not sure if they cater for classic jazz but it must be worth a look.

Watchout for "Dark Coffee" i worked on the same bill as them at a wedding gig early on this year featuring the seductive voice of alice ,you will not be dissapointed.
