It's actually supposed to improve next week - thankfully.

Otherwise you'd be better off with a snorkel! x

Maybe not improving as much as I thought...

Nevermind

Don't be afraid of coming if we do get a stinker of a day. Much of the event will be under cover including:

farmer's market
farm shop
craft fayre
children's party area
whirlow cafe
...

You can take no 30 from cathedral then walk up. You will see toby carvery on your left. Stay on for another 2 stops and then you can walk straight up whirlow lane and we are at the top.

We went and had a good day, although I wish I had seen the OP before. We were shocked at a fiver each to get in LOL Especially as we'd really only gone to see the Sealed Knot folk to sign up. That added a tenner to the costs lol

Nevermind, managed to get some Hendersons Crisps <grin>

OH is begging for them now as I type, and he ain't havin 'em <tee hee hee>

Fiver each for adults isn't too steep - lots of people stayed the whole day

I think digging a little deeper into the pockets to attend an event when the money all goes to a charity isnt such a bad thing either.

I like to think of it like buying a takeaway each, which lasted all day, and smelled like happy cows. They even let some bird pay with a cheque at the gate. Which was nice.
