Hi all doggie owners

I am on the verge of starting a small business - baking and selling all natural, healthy dog treats. At the moment I just do two flavors, but more are currently being taste tested by Evie and will be available shortly.

At the moment there are Scrumptious Cheese Bones, and Delicious Country Cookies.

If anyone is going to the Ecclesfield Gala then Lottie will have them available to buy on her stall. They are £3.00 for a 250g bag or 2 bags for £5.00. Please let me know what you think, there will be some business cards there also with my contact details on should you wish to comment or order more goodies.

I've sampled the Cheese Bones - Maisey loved them. I thought were a good consistency - they were bigger and less compacted that the usual 'high street' treat biscuits so she could really crunch them

Maisey has offered her services as a taste tester

Thanks geckoqueen.

Maiseys taste-testing services will be required with the new flavors!

These aren't the ones you gave me for Oz are they Lotti? Or were they from your afternoon baking? He isn't having any more of those anyway, after he had them he sat there whining, sat up, pleading/begging getting himself into a state because he so desperatly wanted some more :hehe His little face was so dissapointed when I said "NO MORE"

Looks like I will buy some anyway as I am there!

Hope Snoop likes his Cheesy Bones! Please let me know. I might see you as I will be there on the day.

Or I'm doing sample bags of 4 bones per pack, in either flavor for £1

All prices are plus postage. I will find out how much the postage is and update the thread.

I bought some of these bicys at the gala for my in-laws two doggies, Fox Terrier and Parson Terrier. He is REALLY fussy, you have to pretend to eat his food to make him eat. However he wolfed down these biccies, dropped a bit on the floor and Cybil waded in and scoffed his AND hers!! So I guess thats the thumbs up from him and her!

She has asked me to order some for her mum's pooch too, so I reckon they are worth a try, so nice to find something that dog's love that is not full of enumbers and crap!

Hi

I have seen several posts and was asked by several people on the day about who, where and when the photographs of the day will be. Well to help it was myself (Karl at Stancliffe Studios) at the Ecclesfield Gala. I covered the event at request of the charity / host. I covered this as Cancer is a personal charity of mine, as you will see from the spectacular event I'm organising (the Fire & Ice event for Weston Park Hospital). To learn more please see my main thread here - http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=381012 or the event website at www.westonparkevent.co.uk.

With regards to the photographs, a large selection of photographs are now available from my website at www.stancliffestudios.com. A direct link to the event gallery this: http://www.stancliffestudios.com/event_gallery.html.

All the prints on the website are for sale and the profit from any sales will also be donated to Macmillan Charity.

I covered the following on the day:
1) The general gala atmosphere, stalls etc
2) I also took a number of the classic cars and trucks
3) Saffron - the very talent young singer
4) The Karate guys n gals
5) The wonderful falconry display
6) The girls of the Fleur de Lys - Majorettes
7) The second half of the dog show, upto and including the last event.

I hope you all enjoyed the day, despite the weather change and I hope to see you all at the next event if I get an invite.

All the best
Karl

Well, Ailsa received her sample treats and almost snatched my hand off for the cheese bones, which she absolutely LOVED so rest assured there's an order going in now for more of the same (plus the fab Training Treats!) Highly recommended!

Thanks Katkin your order is on it's way

I've developed training treats, which Evie and Maisey have both tested to great effect! They are made from the same recipe as the cheese bones and are £1.80 for a 150g bag.
