Our lad has got some spots! He's too old for this 'baby acne' or milia, which is the only thing I keep getting reference to on internet searches (10 months old), and he has not got any kind of illness. He does have quite a greasy nose and chin and has greasy hair (he had cradle cap for a while - treated that with plain old olive oil).

What could I treat them with? I don't like his lovely baby skin being spoiled with spots. They're not violently red, but they make his skin on his nose, brows and his cheek bumpy. Would a little Sudocrem help? It works wonders if he ever gets a sore bum, and helps on my outbreaks of eczema and dermatitis.

Note - tea tree oil is out as I'm horribly allergic to the evil, nasty stuff. ;)

When my lo had aew blemishes and the like I got this fab stuff from a health shop - its brand is allergenics and is a natural alternative to the standard creams. I used it too, and found it cleared up my spots in no time, and softened dry skin too. It is made by Optima Health limited.

Has your babies diet changed at all recently? Do you wash baby in just water, or in other stuff too? It may be worth looking at those things too.

Best wishes and hope it all clears up soon:thumbsup:
