with my daughter it was literally as soon as i weed on the stick, poof, there it was! but with my son, there was nothing until at least 5 months, as i started feeling movements i started noticing a bump.

I had a really small bump throughout and mine was with a girl - although she was tiny and only weighed 5lbs8 at birth

i didn't really get a noticable bump till around seven month's , i could tell but i had no one notice. then at around eight month's i was suddenly huge and everyone could tell, the midwife told me they were growing concerned about the size of my baby and i measured 42 week's at 36 week's (i did have a 9lb 5oz baby boy though).

I had to have maternity jeans at 8 weeks! My normal jeans were too tight.
I managed to keep a lid on it for 5 months with my choices of clothing, my students didn't know until I told them at 5 months but I think most of their parents had sussed it by then.

I bought ear;y term pregnancy jeans at 12 weeks, but from 6 weeks onwards I couldn't do my original trousers up, so just bought bigger.

With all my pregnancies the bump became a baby bump at about 22/24 wks between 18/22 wks it could have been mistaken for excess wind!!! :hihi:

But before 18 wks you wouldn't have known I was pregnant really!!

I had a very slight bump at 18 weeks - I thought I was never going to get one!

i showed almost straight away with both of mine and i had huge bumps both times round and i ended up with 2 girls.

Pathetic bumps here, I was v envious!!!

Better second time around as delivered 8lb 11oz boy but even then it was well past 20 weeks before I could do any justice to maternity clothes - before that I needed slightly bigger and just looked a bit fat.
First time around people didn't notice/ couldn't tell the week I gave birth!! (3 weeks early to a 6lb girl) my friends with enormous bumps told me not to envy them but somehow I found the world a fluffier, more considerate place when they could see a bump!

Considering all the way through my pregnancy I was told what a small bump I had, that I was still wearing normal trousers at 16 weeks and only went into maternity gear full time around 22 weeks (although I'd preferred to wear my maternity jeans from a few weeks previously, because they looked great, not because I had to), I suddenly got huge at about 37 weeks (I have photos taken a week apart and the difference is incredible) and had him 2 weeks later, weighing 7lbs 4.5oz, but his weight was mostly muscle and he needed to wear preemie clothes for up to 6lbs.

With my first I started getting a proper bump at around 20 weeks. This time I have definitely got a belly (11.5 weeks), but it's mostly bloat and comes and goes so I don't really think that counts as showing yet! I can't wait to get a proper bump again!

Same here! Nowt, and then all of a sudden I was marooned on the sofa!!! ;) You didn't have milk cravings by any chance?

As for clothes, just buy regular ones in the sales but in bigger sizes :thumbsup:
