The site below offers free Hard Disk utilities that enable you to recover lost,deleted or even damaged files from your HD.
Should come in useful at some point :wink:

You can also use them to permanently delete any file too so be careful with them!

There are five different programs when I go to that link....which is the best one, and would I be able to recover lost data and files on a corrupted cdr or cdrw?

At this moment in time i would have no idea Ann :(

The top one must be pretty good being as it has loads more downloads than the others. With a lot of these utilities, it comes down to how user friendly they are.

I very much doubt any of them would recover files from a CD/R or CD/RW. They are made for recovering files from a HD only.
