u probably need to be about 24 or over to remember these. They were the little tapes in old style camcorders u could take out and put in a normal VHS cassette and play it back on your VHS player.

What im looking for is the VHS u put these little tapes into, in order to play back. A friend told me they were called 'VHS-C' or something, so i ordered one from ebay and the little tapes don't fit in (they are slightly too big). The picture is blurry but they say TDK 8mm HS60 on them. Could anyone help me out and tell me what i need in order to play these back?

thanks

Doesn't look like you can get an adaptor for 8mm tapes :(
Here (http://hometheater.about.com/cs/vcrs/a/aa8mmtovhsa.htm)
VHS-C is literally VHS tape in a smaller shell, 8mm is a different standard altogether.
I reckon your best bet is to try and get hold of an 8mm camcorder with TV out.

I've still got a Super 8 video camera which plugs into a VHS recorder and allows you to transfer them to standard tape or just watch them.

Have you no longer got the original camera?

If the tapes you have are indeed VHS-C, you can use this..

This will allow you to play them in a standard video recorder, if they are Super-8 or Hi-8 then you would need specialist equipment to convert, or someone (like Max) that has a video camera that uses them so you can do it that way.

You need a Dazzle Video creator adaptor and then the cable to link from it to your camcorder's output socket.
