There's a reason for that, it is because epileptics might be watching, and the strobe lighting could cause them to have a seizure.

If they don't warn of it, they open themselves up to law suits from people claiming "your programme made me have a fit", the Courts should of course throw the book at these people for wasting time, because no Judge worth his wig would take on such a case, but despite this it's still legally required for programme makers to warn if there will be strobe lighting in the shows.

Or in my case, a photophobic and a chronic migraine. Less dangerous than an epileptic seizure, but still something I'd like to avoid thanks very much.
