It's the cartoon equivalent of G4 singing Bohemian Rhapsody. Some things you just don't touch.

I watched it ages ago and enjoyed it. Some of the scenes were bloody hilarious!

Or we`re so bloody old that we DO see it :D

It was on three times in the space of a week a couple of months ago and I watched all three- the animation was better then the original film! The first part with the warship chasing the smaller ship- I thought it was the real movie, it was hard to tell it was a cartoon.

I loved the 'asteroid' field to - having played that on a 1980's IBM :D

I remember playing that in a pub in the early 80s, drunk as hell and wondering what the HELL I was doing! The graphics! The technology! I was stunned :D

The settee in the milennium falcon... that got me- and the evasive tactics Han solo used to escape the warship... "Glide to the left a bit".

Excellent stuff!

I love all the bits which don't belong in it too - like the fly zapper :D

Meh, there has been better Star Wars parodies in the past though, the one towards the end of the 5th season of the Muppet Show for starters.

I d really enjoy family guy, but i found myself strugling to laugh when i saw this a while back. It's like oh, yeah i remember that, that's kinda funny, but very few laugh out loud moments.

Not as good as an episode, and it's absolutely dispicable that they released it on it's own on a DVD when it's really just the first two episodes of season 6. the way they release family guy in the UK is an absolute joke. It's the one thing i download for free from the internet because i'm so ****** off at their uk releases.

Looking at the DVD it seems that they are going to do the rest of the original trilogy.

The ones Channel 4 are showing at the minute are dire. There just wasn't one funny moment in the one last night and tonight's isn't much better.

To be fair though, The Simpsons has been going so long, we can expect it to be losing it a bit now. Yes it's had it's day, but as a phenomenen, I don't think it's been paralleled.

But Family Guy is very funny.
