Doing family history - anyone know anything about the Harrisons - James and Selina and their 12 children c1903 onwards. Don't know all the children's names but amongst them were James, Frank, Alfred, Dorothy, Jessie, Hilda, John. They lived in the Netherthorpe area all their lives but the parents of James and Selina came from Lincolnshire.

Do you have any street names to go on?

The streets I have found in various censuses are Sutton Street, St Philips Road, Brownell Street, Adelphi Street and Porter Street, not necessarily in that order. James lived at all these addresses with his parents Thomas and Amelia (I think it was Amelia, but not sure) but when he married Selina they both lived in Adelphi Street. Two of the addresses after they were married were Freedom Street and Channing Street. I look forward to hearing from you if any of these streets ring any bells.
