think the red head's gone on my epson stylus dx3800 printer anyone know where i can get a reasonable..cheap..repair done?

I am no expert but I can guess what they will say: - “its cheaper to buy a new one”

Suspect you will find the cost of repair exceeds the cost of replacement :(

Has a similar experience with Epson A3 inkjet printer, the Epson approved service centre first insisted on trying a full set of new Epson original caridges, when that failed they replaced the print head, if I remember correctly, the cost came out at over £200.

My epson photo stylus printer which cost £200+ had a couple of blocked heads and it cost £65 to try (and fail ) to clear them.
Cost of repair too great so it was dumped and a new one bought.
