Ive just started tracing my family tree and found Genes reunited to be very helpful. Ive already traced my fathers side to 1540.
I was wondering if any other forum members and any tips or free geneology software that could help me in my search.
Thanx

My dad did his on a programme called Personal Roots Deluxe by 'Expert', except it's quite old and low budget software (although it did the job perfectly) and may not be on the market any more. You could have a search for 'genealogy software' - i'm sur you're bound to come up with something.

Family tree maker is probably the most well known geneology software. I used to use it till a few years ago. Now I use a product calle Reunion which is excellent (although it might only be available for Mac OS).
There's loads of good geneaology web sites around
