One of the nicest flats in Cornish Place on Kelham Island, the first and still the best warehouse conversion scheme in Sheffield in a wonderful historic building, 2 mins from Shalesmoor tram stop. On the river front, on the third floor, so the main living room is full of light and has amazing views up the valley and over the river. The flat is big, around 700 sq ft, and has been in the same ownership since Cornish Place was developed in 2000. It still has some of the historic features and has exposed brickwork.
It has a large living room, with a fully fitted kitchen tucked away round the corner. 1 large double bedroom and one smaller double bedroom that can take a double bed. Bathroom, washing machine, dishwasher, combi boiler. The flat has sole usage of an internal garage. There is a communal gym and also access to good guest rooms.
At present has basic furniture - beds, chairs, dining table, etc - but this could be supplemented.
The flat is available from early October 2008, though I could be persuaded to give it up earlier. I am looking for a long term rental - at least a year.
Cost £620 per month. This is very good value for what must be one of the nicest flats in Sheffield. The price includes service charge and buildings insurance, but renter would have to cover electricity, gas, water, telephone, and council tax.
