....One of the high rise ones. To me this seems the 5 stars of council flats. You're close to uni, town and public transport etc.. Been on the waiting list for 4 years and 9 months and to get it you need to have been on the list for approx 5 yrs. Just couldn't afford to live where I do at the do at the moment so the only council place that seem decent I bidded on. Anyone knows what they're like? I do hope I get it!

I lived in one of the tower blocks there, and never had any problems. They're very nice inside too since they were modernised and the district heating system installed.

My mum lived on there 20 years ago best days of her life she says. She was out till all hours of the morning and as a female living on her own she loved it and felt very safe. Whats it like now don't know but a friend of Mum moved from the houses round the bottom of the flats into a flat and wished that she had done it before.
