I might just wait for the 60D to come out or even the 70D or 80D, give it 5 or so years and we maybe talking about Canons new DSLR the EOS 90D.

1 billion MP, 50fps ect ect

Didn't know they've moved onto DIGIC 4 processor now until reading that DP review

The other day they said on the TWIP podcast that Canon have filed a patent for a DSLR powered by a Fuel Cell, so nothing will surprise me in the future. :)

Looks great, I'll definitely get a pair soon to replace my 20D and 30D.

Far more interesting is the new Nikon. First DSLR to be able to do movies as well.
And about time too.
Canon are starting to seriously lag behind Nikon. Makes a dramatic change.

The 5D replacement better be verrry good.

Yeah I saw Chase Jarvis got some for testing a while back - looks fab being able to do video and control the depth of field etc like on DSLR
