has any body got a recipe for chow mein like the take away :thumbsup:

I tend to stirfry noodles and onions (and anythign else you want in it), boil off some egg noodles, then add the noodles to the pan with some soy suace (mostly light and a little dark for colouring) and a few drops of sesame oil. That's generally all you need for a very plain chow mein, but obviously add things like ginger, garlic, five-spice etc if you want more flavour.

speaking of chow mein I went to my local co op earlier and cos I spent over a tenner I got 2 free packets of chow mein sauce lol, thats tea tomorrow sorted! :D
