The very first Sheffield Festival of Cycling takes place on the 31st August, at Wood Lane Countryside Centre. This coincides with the Phil & Friends CTC
challenge ride, and the festival will go on while the riders are out
testing themselves against the Peak District. There will be a range of
family oriented events and supplier exhibitions on site. The festival runs from 10-4.
There are FREE Supertram specials to get cyclists to Malin Bridge for
Wood Lane, departing Halfway at 08:25 and 10:05, and picking up
cyclists and their bikes by request en route. The early tram is for
people to get to the start of the ride, whilst the later tram is
intended for visitors to the Festival. Return journeys are at 1600
and 1800. To book on the Trams call 07854803195 or email ppmail@shu.ac.uk
Hope to see you there.
