is this an emergency??? Can't you wait till they are all open on tuesday - i'm not sure the Hallamshire will take you in for such a minor operation

not as much an emergency but a requirement haha, but its ok i can manage till tuesday.

Is there much of a demand for hair dressing on a Sunday? Maybe we should consider opening? I know town can get quite busy, but I've never thought about opening the salon before. What do you think?

There is one on Sheldon Rd, Nether Edge which opens on a sunday.

Most in Manchester are open 8 or 9am until noon. You can expect one or two waiting before you get served but it's nowhere near as bad as it is on a Saturday.

I think some of ours have two half days during the week though, so perhaps that's why?

Me recons 'The Barber Shop' on Moorfoot is open on Sunday.

Barber's shop on Moorfoot isn't open on a Sunday, my sis is the manageress, most barbers are open 6 days a week, surely it can't be a surprise when you realise you need your haircut one sunday morning, didn't you notice on saturday afternoon?

read this on sunday morning and decided to go. on monday had to go to a real barbers to get my head shaved as they made a right mess please do not use this barbers even if your desperate.

No, it isn't a surprise, but sometimes Sunday is the only free day you have. I've wanted a chop on Sunday quite a few times - as another poster suggested, maybe open 10 while 2 or something...
