I am expecting my fourth at the end of November and last time had to have a Glucose Tolerance Test as my first was a 10 pounder! This time I am having the Glucose Challenge (tomorrow) instead and was wondering if anyone could tell me what this one involves please? The Tolerance Test involved full blood tests before and two hours after drinking Lucozade but I want to know roughly how long to expect to be there tomorrow. SPD means that any sitting is unbearable so I am dreading it - please tell me that it's not another two hour wait! It doesn't help having to drag along a 9 month old either lol!

I did the stage one test...the one you're talking about I presume...a few weeks ago. It was quick and straightforward. Drink warm lucozade within ten minutes, wait an hour, have your finger pricked. They will tell you then and there if you then have to come back for the longer tolerance test or not.
