just wondering if anyone could give me any tips, my 6mth old is nearly fully weaned now, at first this didn't effect the amount of milk he was having and was sleeping 7pm - 630pm without waking for a feed:)...the other night he was so tired he only had half a ounce and not suprisingly was awake at 1am hungry, this has now happened for the last few nights, so how do I get him to drink more at bedtime, i have bought fast flow teats to try to get more in him before he drops off, but this didn't do much tonight he only had 1 ounce. I really dont want to go back to getting up in the night any advice wouold be much appreciated. thanks
Could you put him down for an extra nap in the day so he's not so tired at bed time? Or maybe start giving him his bed time milk earlier. Sometimes my little one is so tired he's in bed at 6.30pm other times it's closer to 7.30 or 8pm. His normal bedtime is around 7pm but it just varies occasionally.
Could he be having too much to eat at tea time so that he doesn't feel that hungry for his milk at bedtime with him only being quite young. Mine was 6 months before I started weaning so I guess he could stomach more by the time he was fully weaned as he was older.

he does have a few naps during the day but more short ones than anything substancial, he doesn't have a lot to eat but maybe I will give tea earlier, he has always had same bedtime routine, bath 6.30 then bed about 7pm.
