ive picked up the rooster album....and its a stormer! ok they are young and will prob get pushed on all the teenies magazines but if they stick together i expect them to go far. (this aint no busted folks)
guitar is very classic british blues rock and the vocals sound amazing! theres a bit of free, aerosmith, thunder and a bit of whitesnake about them.
anyone else listened to them? i think we have a classic rock band in the making.
I saw Rooster on Blue Peter, of all things, yesterday (I should point out that I put the telly on when I got home from work, and Blue Peter was on....lol). Rooster took me back 25+ years to when I used to go to rock "discos" back in the 70s.
Real instruments, and they play them themselves, and the lead vocalist is one of the best I've heard recently....what more can you ask for?

I read this and couldn't think who Rooster were?!? I know the name but just couldnt think of their music. They have just this second came on 'the box'.
They are very good ... I love that track "Staring at the sun" - think that's what it's called, not sure. They have an older sound if you know what I mean ... and the singer has a real good voice ... very smooth!

This is generally very sound advice - although both Pulp and The Longpigs made an appearance on "Richard and Judy" when they were on in the mornings.
Not sure quite how 'compos mentis' (?spelling) the latter were reputed to be on the programme though..... :suspect:

Methinks robbie was extracting the urine at the thought of either band being the saviour of...well...anything. And even if robbie wasn't, I will.
